Hot Weather Guidance Has Been Issured by the Governments in the Channel Islands after Forecasters Said Temperature Could exceed 30C (86f).

Prof Peter Bradley, Jersey’s Director of Public Health, Urged Islanders to Stay Cool During the Spell of Hot Weather Had Been Forecast for the Next Few Days.

He Said Temperature COULD EXCEED 30C ON SATURDAY AND PEOPLE PLANNING TO ATTEND WEEKENDS SHOULD TAKE PRECAUTIONS TO STAY SAE.

Guernsey’s Public Health Services Also Issudes Advice to People to “Stay Safe, Cool, and Well” During the Hot Weather.

Advice offended from Both governments included wearing a hat, drinking plenty of water and staying out of the Sun BetWeen Midday and 18:00 when it is at it hottest.

Prof Bradley Said: “while we were welcome the warm Weather, Extreme Heat Cause Harm to Health Including Heat Exhaustion, Heatstroke, and Dehydration.

“There are a number of events happening this weekend and i enCourage all islanders atttending, to take precautions and stay safe in the hot weather.”

People have also ben asced to check in on those who might be at risk of health wills by the heat, sucker as the elderly to make sura they keeping cool.

A Spokesperson for Guernsey’s Public Health Services Said: “Many of US Enjoy Spending Time Outdoors in the Sunshine, but Hot Weather Pose Health Risks, Especilly for Certain Groups, Such As Young Children, Older Adults, and People with Long-Term Health.”
