Bogor -A nursing home in the North Bogor area, Bogor City, is currently in the public spotlight. It started with a viral video recording in which a group of residents came to the location and asked that a female worker allegedly imprisoned by the orphanage administrators was released. This case was then handled by the police and continued to develop until a number of new facts emerged. The following is something known so far regarding the incident with the alleged detention of employees at the nursing home. 1. Viral video of residents visiting a nursing home. A video showing the atmosphere at the gate of a nursing home in Bogor has become viral on social media. Home safety explained that a group of residents came around 01.00 WIB to pick up one of the employees. “Several dozens of people came here, almost 20 or more. They shouted that Martha had to be left out. Therefore, there was no removal about the incarceration,” he said. Police who came to the location helped calm the situation and secured the victim for further investigation. 2. Residents of Gouuduk to fetch other employees. It did not stop there, the residents returned to the nursing home that night. They went to fetch a number of other female employees who were still working there. After the dialogue for about an hour and a half, the five female employees decided to resign and go home with the residents. “I represent the family on behalf of the younger siblings who are here to say thank you, because they were now allowed to go home. Earlier, the handover was carried out by the foundation, Mrs Ana himself with the manpower office, handed it directly to us,” the family representative, Father Kristo, said Friday (10/10/2025). The lawyer of the employee, Francisco de Tango, added that the employees resigned for being traumatized by the previous incident. “When these young people saw yesterday’s incident, they experienced a little trauma. Based on that, they made the decision to resign,” he said. 3. Family reveals trigger for the alleged upturn Father Kristo said the alleged incarceration began with something trivial, namely a joke about hiding a fellow employee’s place to eat. “The problem started with trivial things, jokes and hiding from each other where they ate. Apparently the incident was reported to the leadership (orphanage administrators). From there, the leadership acted that they were for guidance, but it appeared to be above humanitarian limits,” he said. He also suspected that the victim was not only imprisoned, but also experienced violence. “There are allegations of torture because one of the children runs cloth and half -dead, because he was told to jump 300 times and kept in his own room. That’s what is being processed now, ‘he said. Kristo said two female employees are victims, one of whom is currently being treated in hospital and received a post -mortem. He hopes that the police will handle this matter professionally, so that it will have a horrible effect on any party that treats workers inhumanly. 4. The police have investigated Witnesses and are investigating the case of the criminal investigative unit of the Bogor City police, AKP Aji Riznaldi said the investigation was already underway. “Bogor City Police and North Bogor police are investigating, they started investigating witnesses,” he said when he met, Friday (10/10/2025). From Friday night, four Witnesses were questioned. Police are also investigating other possible criminal acts in this case. “Based on the report, we conducted an investigation and it was true that one person was locked in a room because he made a mistake in his job,” Aji said. Meanwhile, the North Bogor police chief AKP Enjo Sutarjo confirmed that the victim’s report had been received. “The case is handled. The victim reported it, the report is (regarding) the alleged incarceration. If there was no abuse, there would be no (reports of) abuse,” Enjo said when he was asked for confirmation. 5. The police are still investigating allegations of abuse. Although there were no official reports on physical violence, police are now investigating the allegations of abuse against the victim. “As far as the alleged abuse is concerned, we are still investigating it because the victim was taken to the hospital immediately so we can no longer ask for information,” AKP AJI Riznaldi said. It is alleged that the victim has undergone a post -mortem to confirm the condition of the injuries he sustained. “For the victim’s injuries, we are still awaiting the post -mortem results of the hospital. Once the results have come out, we can convey it,” Aji said. According to police, the investigation process will continue to determine the truth of the allegations of incarceration and violence in the nursing home.
