The reactions to Diddy’s prison sentence are still coming in. On Friday, October 3, Judge Arun Subramanian gave him 50 monthswhich came after the fallen mogul was convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
The lawyers for Cassie, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, who testified against him, issued a statement and said nothing will undo the trauma that she experienced with Diddy.
Others who reacted include Suge Knight, who said from jail that Diddy got off lightly. Meanwhile, Aubrey O’Day, a singer who was signed to Diddy’s label Bad Boy, issued a warning to up-and-coming artists, telling them to immediately walk away when someone in a position of power mistreats them.
But out of all the people who’ve weighed in on the sentence so far, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say many were waiting for 50 Cent to comment since he’s been trolling Diddy since his 2024 arrest.
50 Cent’s Reaction
50 Cent once told Harlem rapper Cam’ron that his constant trolling of Diddy isn’t related to a deep hatred or beef but competition, since they were both operating in the cutthroat music business and other areas of entertainment. However, the G-Unit rapper has poked fun at Diddy’s legal troubles almost daily over the past year.
50 is also making plans to produce a documentary about his crimes, said to be on Netflix, and he even threatened to reach out to President Donald Trump when Trump said he’d look into the facts of Diddy’s case for a possible pardon.
Then on Friday, right after the sentence came down, 50 pounced at the chance to troll Diddy again, by posting a courtroom sketch of the 55-year-old crying, which he did when his children spoke to the judge about a lighter sentence.
The “In Da Club” rapper also referenced Diddy scheduling a speaking engagement in Miami for this week before the sentencing, believing that he’d be free. It was a move that US Attorney Christy Slavik called “the height of hubris” while addressing the judge.
“Hey to whoever was booking Diddy for speaking engagement. I heard he won’t be able to make it, I’m available!” tweeted 50.
Another message that he posted shows the Bad Boy founder on his knees, breaking down, after the sentence was read. But it’s not clear if the drawing is real or AI-generated, since there are several reports that state Diddy showed zero emotion when the sentence was handed down.
People React To 50’s Trolling
50 also brought up the woman known as Jane in the second message, one of Diddy’s exes who testified and accused him of abuse.
“I think he dropped his pencil. I’m gonna send Jane to see him make sure he’s ok. How much do you think she will charge for that? LOL,” 50 captioned the image, bringing up reports that Jane sought money from Diddy.
Many commented on 50 trolling Diddy over the prison sentencewith some saying it’s too soon and that 50 shouldn’t be kicking the music mogul while he’s down. But others stated the opposite and cheered 50 on.
