The team of the Pharmacy Council of India inspected MIT in Muzaffarpur. The inspection was conducted to give Bpharma Batch of PCI recognition from 1993 to 2016. The team suggested trying to develop as a pharmacy university. This will be considered in the upcoming PCI meeting, after which the possibility of recognition exists. This inspection is a historical step towards PCI recognition to BPharma groups from 1993 to 2016. It will be held during the Agami PCI meeting. It is likely to be recognized this first. The team members must try to develop as a pharmacy university. The inspection team tried to deepen several points from the pharmacy department for two days. The University Administration tries to recognize BPharma group from 1993 to 2016 from PCI. Dr. VeerA Reddy Prabhakar Reddy, Principal University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences Pala Muru University Telangana, Sushil Sudan chairman, Jammu and Kashmir Government Pharmaceutical Association Directorates Complex was Jamu. During the inspection, Dr. MK JHA gave the committee detailed information on MIT’s educational journey, structure and quality improvement initiative. Dr. Sanjay Kumar, head of the pharmacy department, presented the details of the department’s educational and technical achievements. Rajiv Kumar and Dr. Manikant Kumar satisfied the inspection team by presenting documents and activities related to the pharmacy department in a systematic form. After the two -day visit, the inspection committee regarded the position of the department as strongly and suggested that the institute should continue with the start of the Mpharma course. He also said that the MIT pharmacy department should also make efforts to develop an independent pharmacy university. The Superintending Committee clearly indicated that the group could be recognized from 1993 to 2016 at the coming meeting of the PCI. Apart from this, MIT’s pharmacy department provides regular education from PCI to 2025-26 with 100 seat approval.
