6 Primary school students rape female student in Karawang

Jakarta – A female student in Karawang, West Java, became a victim of rape by six high school students. Head of the Karawang Regency Women and Child Protection Service (DP3A), Wiwiek Krisnawati, said that his party is providing assistance to the victim. “Yes, the rape incident involved a 14-year-old junior high school student, which was carried out by 6 junior high school students of the same age. The case took place in Jayakerta district, Saturday (11/10), or Sunday evening,” said Wiwiek as reported by detikJabar, Thursday (16/10/2025). Wiwiek said his party is currently treating the victims, both physically and psychologically. “If this case is processed by the police, we will only deal with the issue of physical, post-mortem and psychological treatment to assist (the victim),” he said. Currently, Wiwiek said, the four alleged perpetrators have been arrested by the police. Meanwhile, the other two offenders are still in the mediation stage with their parents. “While four people have been arrested, the two perpetrators are still being processed. The parents of these two perpetrators have also made statements to present them as soon as possible, because the legal process is still at the stage of investigating the suspect’s statement (BAP) which only started in the last three days,” he said.
