Under the action plan, this town was selected as a pilot project. For this, a total amount of Rs 1.35 crore received from Niti Aayog will be spent. The purpose of this scheme is to financially empower the people of the town and provide new food. The town will be divided into four separate groups under the scheme. Special emphasis will be placed on dam construction, irrigation system, horticulture and other activities in each group. This initiative will not only increase the productivity of the farm, but the residents will also directly benefit from fisheries and horticulture. About 500 rural families will benefit from this project launched in collaboration with Niti Aayog.
