Jamui, May 21 (IANS). Tara Devi, from Bhajor Village in Jamui City of Bihar, has become an inspiration for millions of women. After losing her husband Mukesh Singh in a road accident in 2022, where many women break, Tara Devi showed courage to fight the situation and took her family on the path of self -sufficiency. After the death of her husband, Tara Devi was responsible for three daughters. The economic situation was weak, but he did not give up. He took a 30 -thousand loan from the Jeevika group and introduced the Nutrition Vatika (Kitchen Garden) and NPM (non -pesticide management) store with the same capital. Today, she sells goods from about three to four thousand rupees each day, earning up to 500 rupees a day. With this income, she is not only raising her family, but the education of the three daughters was also continued. Tara Devi says that Jeevika Yojana supported me and today I stand on my own feet. I was associated with livelihood. Due to three children, we started the work of animal friend. I stayed at home for 2-4 months after my husband died in an accident. Then I started running a store so I raised my children. He said that after the death of my husband, I entered into a loan of Rs 30,000 in 2022 and put it in the store. Now I come to the store seven in the morning and go seven in the evening. My older daughter is 17 years old, second 13 years old and younger 11 years old. All three children study with the income of this store and are increased. I save 500 rupees every day. Tara Devi said I want my older daughter to do GNM (general nursing and midwife) because her father was also in the medical field. I want to make another daughter a teacher. All three children are still studying. I thank the government a lot because I didn’t have the money to start a store. No one was ready for help at the time, but Jeevika provided 30 thousand rupos.
