Recently, a similar serious case came to light in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, who exposed the inertia of the dowry system and the horrors of crimes. Here, a woman claims to have a kidney for her husband of her daughter -in -law, which is a strange and extremely inhuman incident. Deepti said she got married in 2021, and initially everything was good, but gradually the in -laws began to claim money, bike, jewelry and others. When Deepti refused to meet these demands, she began to demand that a kidney play with her and her husband’s life. Spiritual and physical torture Deepti also said that after two years of marriage, she found out that her husband had a serious kidney disease. After this, the In -Laws started putting a lot of pressure on her to give her a kidney to her husband. When he rejected these demands, he had to beat and experience spiritual torture. All of these incidents were so frightening that Deepti had to return to her mother’s home and filed a complaint with the Mahila police station. Police, taking into account the seriousness of the case and the attempted compromise, tried to make an agreement between the two parties, but when the case did not work, the woman demanded a divorce. However, her husband refused to divorce. On the woman’s complaint, police registered a case under 38/25 divisions and accused her in -laws, including her husband. The Law Against Destraining System is both crime in the Indian legislation that gives dowry and dowry. In terms of the Dytr’s Prohibition Act, there is a provision of strict punishment for the demanding, take or give the giver. Nevertheless, this practice continues even today because of social beliefs and pressure. Especially in rural and semi-urban areas, women should prey on these atrocities. The need to eliminate social evils clearly shows that the effects of the dowry system are not limited to economic pressure, but that they also endanger the physical safety and life of women. To eliminate such inhuman ancient things with women, we must be jointly aware and take strict steps. The government must make laws against dimmering more efficient and make special plans to protect women. Society must also understand that dowry system is not acceptable under any circumstances, and to end it, you will also have to work on a social level. Women’s empowerment and awareness to make women aware of their rights and empower them is also an important part of the fight against this heinous practice. If women are economically, socially and educational, they can face such atrocities and raise their voice. Families and society will also have to decide to honor women and completely eliminate practical practices such as dowry.
