Pakistan should try to isolate worldwide: JNU President Nitish Kumar

New -delhi, May 22 (IANS). Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (Jnusu) President Nitish Kumar responded sharply to the recent terrorist attacks in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir and then the increasing tension between India and Pakistan. He strongly condemned the attack and questioned the policy and security course of the central government. At the same time, he urges diplomatic solution and calls on war situation. Nitish Kumar said in his statement that both India and Pakistan are nuclear -rich countries and that the war situation affects the worst and weaker parts. I believe that the war situation should be avoided because the general public should bear the most loss. Referring to the terror attack in Pahalgam, he said: “I strongly condemn this attack, but the kind of damage that has occurred across the country shows the government’s security course. The government has acted against Pakistan without taking responsibility for it, which has already been decided.” He insisted that Pakistan solve the problem to hide terrorists in war or diplomatic ways. India must put Pakistan under pressure with its diplomatic power, so that elements that promote terrorism can be prevented. Pakistan must try to isolate worldwide. Pakistan also played a role in 2018 and earlier attacks, but is there war solution every time? A strategy must be made to eliminate terrorism through diplomacy. He feared that such incidents could be made deliberately to increase common tensions, damaging the country’s peace and chances. Nitish Kumar also expressed concern about the loss of the Indian army and demanded transparency from the government. He said: “We do not get accurate information about how many soldiers have been tortured. Only their body reaches the towns. The government must explain how many soldiers sacrificed.” He also questions what was the end of the terrorists responsible for the Pahalgam attack? What was our purpose? Can we ensure tourism and security in Kashmir? The answer to these questions is needed. “He appreciated the press conference of the army in which the facts were clarified. He also targeted the media and said: ‘The media has spread wrong information, sometimes the attack on Karachi, sometimes to reach Islamabad. This wrong information is fooling the country. “Nitish Kumar has demanded from the government that it has taken concrete steps to promote tourism and safety in Kashmir.” Attacks such as Pahalgam not only harm Kashmir’s tourism, but also affect the image of the country. The government must take strictly against terrorism, but also maintain common harmony. ”-Ians Aks/DSC
