America attacked the alleged Al -qaeda shelter in Yemen with Drone, at least six people dead
Aden, May 24 (IANS). A military official from Yemen said that the US attacked a drone at night by targeting a suspected Al -qaeda shelter in Abyana’s southern province. At least six people were killed in this attack. The military military officer told the Xinhua news agency on condition of anonymity that attacks were carried out late Friday night in the Hill Marakisha area in eastern Abyan. It is believed that all the people who are dead were members of Al-Qaeda in the Arab peningula. It is a branch of Al Qaeda network in Yemen. According to the official, the campaign against Al Qaeda was carried out with the government forces of Yemen. The place where the attack allegedly worked as a launch of attacks against government forces and recent bombing operations in the province. There was also conflicting news about the attack. A local tribal leader confirmed two drone attacks at night, in which the stem elements were targeted. There is no statement from Al Qaeda in Arabian Penningul (AQAP) yet on the incident. Since the end of the year 2022, Abyana has been a major battlefield in Yemen’s anti -terrorism efforts. The powers of the Pro -Government Sauthran Transitional Council tried to uproot the Al -qaeda in the Arab Peninjula fighters, supported by government soldiers in remote areas. Government officials say AQAP is often targeted on security personnel with immediate explosive equipment. Yemen has been facing the civil war for a long time. It started in 2014 when the Huti group captured the capital ‘Sana’. The Al Qaeda group gave extremist groups the chance to take advantage of the emptiness of power.
