Bihar: Recovery of 228 Special Doctors in the Department of Health, Minister Mangal Pandey Distributed appointment letters

Patna, May 31 (IANS). There was a large -scale appointment in the Department of Health in Bihar. Minister of Health Mangal Pandey gave appointment letters to 228 special doctors under the National Health Mission (NHM) at Patna’s conference building. With a view to strengthening Bihar’s health system, this movement of the government is considered very important. Mangal Pandey said: “These appointments reflect the commitment of the government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, under which it is our goal to deliver quality health care to every citizen.” The Minister of Health said that 30 orthopedic surgeons, 27 general surgeons, 17 ophthalmics, 25 medicine specialists, 38 pediatricians, 55 women and maternity specialists, 13 ENT -Chirurgs, 12 psychiatrists, 3 dermatologists, 3 dermatologists and 8 anesthetists. Mangal Pandey said: “The Department of Health has issued an advertisement for the recovery of 41,000 posts, in which the appointment process of 8,500 general and specialist doctors is also underway. The appointment process of 722 general doctors will be completed in the next 15 days. Pathology services are also improved in hospitals.” He further said: “The state government has also achieved a great achievement under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. More than 17 Lakh Ayushman and Vandana cards have been made over the past five days. 3.96 Crore cards have been issued so far. This number will cross 4 crores.” Laptops were also provided to newly appointed doctors to promote technology -based medical services. With this, doctors will be able to serve better on digital platforms. This initiative will be a milestone to further strengthen the state’s health system.
