Sierra Leone standing with India emphasizes global unit against terrorism

Freetown, May 31 (IANS). The parliamentary delegation of all parties led by Shiv Sena MP Sanrikanth Eknath Shinde completed the successful visit to Sierra Leone. During this, he called on the United Nations Security Council, Financial Action Work Force (FATF) and other international forums to increase collaboration to fight terrorism and maintain world peace. Sierra Leone’s Vice President Mohammad Juldeh Halloh confirmed the Solidarity of the West African country with India at a meeting with the delegation. He strongly condemned the terrorist attack on April 22 and killed 26 innocent people. The Indian High Commission posted on ‘X’ in Freetown on Saturday, “during a meeting with the All -Party delegation, Vice President of Sierra Leone Mohammad Juldeh Jaloh condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, expressing sadness to the innocent people who were killed and confirmed the solidarity with India.” These include Speaker of Parliament, MP and Foreign Affairs Committee, Deputy Minister of Defense, National Security Coordinator and Acting Foreign Minister. These meetings discussed increasing collaboration between the two countries and strengthened mutual relationships. The delegation emphasized India’s zero tolerance policy on terrorism, saying that India does not tolerate any form of terrorism at all. He also emphasized that it is very important for all countries to unite to fight this danger. In a statement issued by the High Commission of India, Muana Breima Masakwoi, Deputy Defense Minister, and the Deputy Leader of Opposition, Daniel Breima Koroma, strongly condemned and strongly supported the attitude of India. Minister Masakwoi said that Africa countries should immediately unite and take steps against terrorism. He said the discussion with Sierra Leone’s Vice President, chairman of Parliament, Deputy Minister of Defense, acting minister of foreign affairs and other great leaders was very good and helpful in fighting terrorism. The delegation also met several foreign diplomats in Sierra Leone on Friday. During this time, he emphasized the need to act internationally against terrorism.
