The way for the construction of a dilapidated bridge across the Sukhania River on Bhagalpur-Hansdiha road connecting Bhagalpur to Jharkhand and Bihar was cleared. The responsibility of the construction of this bridge was entrusted to Messrs Rajveer Construction. It has the lowest tender in financial bid. The agency will soon get a job order. NH engineer said that this bridge is an important road connecting the district to Jharkhand and Bengal. Its condition is quite dilapidated. However, some important work is influenced because the executive engineer is on leave and promotes the post of chief engineer of Superintending Engineer and not permanent appointment to this post here. But the work of Sukhania Bridge takes precedence. Bhagalpur-Nawachiya road will be restored. Nine kilometers of road between Bhagalpur to Navagachia will be restored. NH-131B will work to lay asphalt layer. This will provide relief from the dilapidated path to passersby. There are many deadly pits on the road. Water is an enemy of asphalt. In such a situation, how sustainable the road will be in the rain, it will only tell the time to come. On the other hand, the tender process is completed. The work will start in the last week of this month. According to the engineer of the NH section, the responsibility of this work will be entrusted to the Messrs Vikas Kumar firm of Begusarai. Which must be completed by December. A total of three agencies showed interest in restoring this road. These include m/ s Niranjan Sharma van Munger and Kaushalya State of Patna.
