When the government launched the girl’s sister scheme, the condition was that the joint annual income of the woman’s family should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh. However, women with taxes paying more than Rs 2.5 Lakh also apply. The department has currently compiled a special committee to investigate the list of 2.52 crore applications. Below, applications from women of tax payments or government functions will be disqualified. In the last investigation, out of 2 lakh applications, it was found that 2289 government employees were beneficiaries, and their names were immediately removed. Minister Aditi Tatkare has made it clear that this inspection is an essential and regular process for welfare schemes. Aditi Tatkare said: ‘Misconceptions are spread over the girl sister scheme. This scheme will continue. Four months ago, an inspection found that employees of the government of government women utilize the scheme. Since then, they have stopped getting benefits. ‘Girl Bahin Yojana’ is for married, widow, divorced, abandoned or solely women from a low -income group between 21 and 65 years old. Currently, funds of Rs 3719 crore have been distributed for the month of May and 2.47 crore women are likely to have direct benefits. State Deputy Head Minister Ajit Pawar himself acknowledged that the ‘Girl Bahin Yojana’ had some mistakes. Many non -qualifying women, including government employees, have used this scheme. Many women have applied by breaking the criteria. Now their applications are rejected. Now, the investigation has begun again according to the criteria for qualifying women applications.
