Prabowo's valuation legislator recalled a mining permit in Raja Ampat: Moment of Deters

Jakarta – Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Golkar Party Faction APROZI Alam expressed his appreciation for President Prabowo Subianto to recall the mining license (IUP) of four companies in Raja Ampat Geopark, Suidwes Papua. He also encouraged strict supervision of PT Gag Nickel, the only company still working outside the Gopark area. “Although outside the nuclear zone, PT Gag Nickel must be closely monitored to ensure that its activities do not damage the environment or harm local communities,” Aprozi said. Previously, the government has taken fixed steps related to nickel mining activities in the Raja Ampat Geopark region, Southwest Papua.
