Jammu and Kashmir: Lieutenant -Governor laid the groundstone of school upgrade, auditorium construction in Samba
Samba, June 16 (IANS). Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha laid the foundation on Sunday for upgrading Government Higher Secondary School (GSS) Guda Salathia and the construction of a multi-purpose auditorium. An important initiative was taken to empower Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday in the Guda Salathia area in the Samba district. The Lieutenant -Governor hoped to complete the work in a year. On this occasion, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar, former minister and senior leader Surjit Singh Salathia, District Development Commissioner Samba Rajesh Sharma, SSP Samba, Radha Swama Satsang State Coordinator Pradeep Aggarwal, area secretary S. Sharma, Sarpanch, Pouch and other Dignitaries present. During the program, the Lieutenant -Governor visited the explanation of the projects and said that the government was committed to providing quality education and better inflation in remote areas of the state. A detailed map of the proposed multi -purpose auditorium was also displayed in the school grounds, including the area of 80 times 120 feet with modern functions with platforms, auditoriums and the necessary arrangements for different occasions. In his speech, Lieutenant -Governor Manoj Sinha said: “Education is the basis of any society.
