Identification of 259 death in Ahmedabad aircraft accident, 256 bodies handed over

Ahmedabad, June 23 (IANS). The process of surrendering the bodies of people who have lost their lives in a recent plane crash in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, goes to their families. In this regard, Dr. Rakesh Joshi, Superintendent of Civil Hospital, said Monday that a total of 259 dead have been identified so far, of which 253 were identified by DNA investigation and 6 identified on the basis of faces.
