The Department of Public Works sent a proposal for this road under the action plan 2025-26 and sent it to the government. It will cost 23.42 crores. The road is suggested to increase the road one and a half meters on both sides. For this, trees will also be cut on both sides of the road in larger work. According to the Department of Public Works, about 108 trees were counted in this work. However, this proposal was also sent to the government last year. But approval could not be received due to cut trees. If the road is expanded, traffic will be smooth due to the growing width on both sides of Lalkurti to Commissioners Housing Square and the intersection of Commission Housing to Mawana Road. Executive engineer of the provincial block, Satendra Kumar, said further process will begin once the action plan is approved. In addition, a proposal is also prepared to make repairs at a cost of 14.01 crore in 42 km length of 36 roads below the sugar factory.
