24 new cases of Kovid registered in Maharashtra, number of active patients 188
Mumbai, June 26 (IANS). In Maharashtra, cases of Corona virus infection gradually decline. On Thursday, 24 new Kovid-19 patients were confirmed in the state. This increased the number of active cases to 188. The Department of Health said that mild symptoms were found in all new patients and that they were treated regularly. The 24 new patients confirmed on Thursday include 7 of Mumbai, 1 of Navi Mumbai, 1 from Raigad, 1 of Panvel Municipal Corporation, 6 of Pune Municipal Corporation, 1 of Pimpri-Chinchwad, 2 of Satara, 1 of Kolhapur, 1 of Kolhapur, 3 of CHhatrapati Sambhajinagar Mun Picipal Corporation and 3 of Nagpati Sambhajinagar Mun Picipal Corporation Municipal Corporation. The condition of all patients is stable and is under medical supervision. A total of 27,963 Covid tests have been conducted in the state since January 2025, of which 2,449 people are infected. Of these, 2,225 patients have been healed so far, thereby rising to 90.85 percent. A total of 980 patients have been confirmed in Mumbai since January 2025, with 1-1 cases in January and February, no case in March, 435 in April, 435 in May and 539 in June. Light symptoms were found in all patients, making it clear that the intensity of infection is lower than before. However, the death of 36 patients was also recorded in the same period. In the Covid-19 Review Meeting held at the state level, several important guidelines were given to the officers. Instructions were also given to all health institutions, medical colleges and hospitals in the municipal area to keep updates from Covid investigation and treatment facilities. The Department of Health has called on the public not to avoid rumors and not panic, as adequate facilities for the treatment and investigation of Kovid are available in the state.
