The district administration evacuated 12 stores that operate illegally in the Hazari Court site and sealed on Saturday. These stores were presented to the Tis Hazari court administration. The tenders of these stores ended years ago, despite the fact that its store operators are trading illegally. The shopkeepers did not vacate the stores, despite repeated court notices over the past five years. Even after repeated warnings, when no solution came out, the court asked the district administration to vacate it. On May 6, the order was made to evacuate the store by giving notice below, under this, on May 6, all the shop owners were given notice and ordered to evacuate the stores within a set time, but no steps were taken, even after about one and a half months. In contrast, some shop owners pleaded in court to remain the action, which rejected the court and made a clear order that the stores should be evacuated. On Saturday night, the District Administration team reached the court premises led by police in Delhi and SDM and all 12 stores were evacuated and sealed. During this action, a large multitude gathered in the premises and some shop owners also protested. The police force and the SDM team posted on the spot, restored peace by controlling the situation. Photocopy, juice, stationery and offices of some advocates also ran in these stores. ADM’s statement, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Atul Pandey, additional district magistrate of Central -Delhi, said this action was taken according to the court.
