The woman complained by taking the customer care number from Google, after which the thugs took the money out of her account through UPI. Police registered a case and began investigation. More than 99 thousand rupees in his account were transferred within minutes. Police wrote a fir based on mobile number in the case. Mansi Pathak, a resident of Cantt’s Chanehati, told police that he had bought a cooler from a bajaj. He has deteriorated after some time. As he was in a guarantee, he searched the number on complaints on Google. A number was seen on Google with the name of the customer service of Bajaj Company. When he dialed the number, a person picked up the phone from there. Said what is your problem. He said that the cooler was taken some time ago, but it was deteriorating. On this, the thugs became an employee of the company and said that he would immediately return the entire amount of his cooler. For this, he asked to open the UPI app in the phone. When he opened the UPI app, the messages of the transaction received twice after some time. The first message comes for 84.45 thousand and the second message comes for 15 thousand rupees. When checking the account, a total of Rs 99468 was deducted from his account. Then he realized he was cyber fraud. In this case, Cantt police wrote a FIR based on the customer service number. To avoid cyber fraud, do this solution, never remove any customer care number from Google. If a number is removed from Google, do not provide information regarding your bank accounts.
