Previously, the Transjakarta bus that works in TB Simatupang will be added. Residents are expected to turn to public transport. “We will also add Transjakarta that goes through TB Simatupang, 14 units, to each region, we will add 14 units,” Pramono said on Monday (8/25/2025) in the Cakung area, East Jakarta. “What is the hope? People use public transport going through TB Simatupang will increase,” he continued. Pramono assessed that the accumulation of Jalan TB Simatupang was temporary because there was an excavation project. He said the project was completed in November 2025. “I asked the Ministry of Communications and Information Agency to announce that there is indeed a problem. Because there are indeed three projects there,” he said. He said the DKI Jakarta provincial government would also cut sidewalks that were not used by pedestrians. According to him, it can provide more room on the road and unravel congestion. “What is meant by sidewalks is therefore a sidewalk that is not used, sidewalks that are not used because there are projects there,” he said.
