Congress accused of 'BJP voting fraud' in the list of BPL beneficiaries in Haryana has demanded investigation
The congress today demanded a thorough investigation to add and remove the large -scale names of the Beneficiaries of the Poverty (BPL) in Haryana and claim to be a ‘BJP voting fraud’. The Mla Sharwala Congress claimed the issue during the question of the third day of the Monsoon session, and he claimed that names were added to the BPL list to “lure” votes “in the election year. He said: “We are demanding an investigation into the addition of names in the election year and removing the name after the election.” When his question had his question, the government informed the house that between January 2024 to July 31, 2025, 8,73,507 families were added to the BPL category and 9,68,506 families were removed. Until August 22, there were 41,93,669 BPL families in the state. Krishna Lal Panwar, Minister of Development and Panchayat, made it clear that BPL beneficiaries were identified based on the verified annual family income recorded in the Family Identity Card (PPP) database. However, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini again retaliated at the congress. He said: “He (leaders of the congress) who created a Rukus that is deprived of many qualifying beneficiaries of the profit because they are not included in the list. I announced that we will open the portal, but after that a survey will be executed.
