Mumbai threads for heavy rain on September 2 - Will the city face another flood?

Mumbai is once again attentive, as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall warning for September 2. After days of intense rainfall that made several parts of the city disappear, the upcoming game caused the fear of another flood. Commuters, residents and officials are impacting, but the big question remains – will the city just see a rain or another round chaos? Will heavy rainfall hit Maharashtra today? The weather agency predicted thunderstorms that were accompanied by lightning on isolated places in the Northern Konkan districts, as well as in the ghat areas of Northern Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada today. The forecast also revealed a heavy warning for some districts in South Konkan-Goa and in the Ghat areas of South Madhya Maharashtra.
