Jakarta – Member of the House of Representatives Commission IX of the Nasdem faction, Irma Suryani Chaniago, proposed a unit for negligent Nutrition Services (SPPG) to cause poisoning cases in the free nutritional program (MBG) to give compensation to victims. Initially, the head of BGN Dadan Hindayana reported that there were 7,477 sppg units distributed in 38 provinces, 509 districts and 7.022 sub -districts. He said that there are currently five districts that do not have sppg yet, namely the Arfak Mountains Islands (West Papua), Central Sumba (NTT), Maybrat and Tambrauw (Southwest papua) and Mahakam Ulu (East Calimantan). According to him, sppg should be responsible if there is negligence for beneficiaries. “Now the cost of poisoning of children is usually covered by BPJs. Irma emphasizes that there are still many sppg kitchens that are not disciplined in the management of standard menu or equipment. Irma then asked BGN to take fixed steps against the indiscipline. “If it is not disciplined up to 2-3 times with the menu or standards delivered by the BGN, I think it should also get sanctions. It should not be silenced because it damages the name of BGN, which damages the name of the government,” he explained. Furthermore, Irma assessed that BGN should be firm with SPPG when MBG will be outdated. According to him, outdated food should not only be withdrawn without being replaced. “If it is outdated, it must be withdrawn and he has to replace it. It should not be enough to be withdrawn, but he does not do a replacement. It should not be. Must be replaced,” he explained. “I think it should also be an input for BGN, so that orderly administration, sanctions and quality BGN get better,” he added.
