Bengaluru, September 10 (IANS). The Karnataka government has decided to draft an important bill to seize the assets obtained from illegal mining in the state. This information was given by the Act and the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, HK Patil. HK Patil said: “The purpose of this law is to compensate the great financial losses to the state of illegal mining. The bill will not only stop illegal mining in the future, but also bring back the earnings from previous illegal activities.” He said that the problem of illegal mining in Karnataka was not only limited to Bellary, Tumkur and Chitradurga districts, but that it was distributed in every part of the state. He said that this officer will identify all the individuals and businesses who have earned profit from illegal mining and the process will begin to seize their property. HK Patil said a repair officer will be appointed soon so that this process can be continued quickly.
