ChhattisGarh: Maoist leader Sujata surrendered in Bastar

Jagdalpur, September 13 (IANS). Chhattisgarh’s Bastar Range police have strengthened their campaign against the Maoists. Now, police have had a great success, as Sujata Alias ​​Kalpana, a member of the Central Committee of the Forbidden CPI (Maoist) organization, surrendered in Telangana. The surrender of such a great Maoist leader is considered a serious setback for the Maoist movement. Sujata Dandakaranya was in charge of the South Sub-Jonal Bureau of the Special Sonale Committee, and the security forces placed a reward of Rs 40 Lakh. There were more than 72 cases against him in different districts of Bastar Range. The CPI (M) Organization’s Central Committee member Sujata’s surrender incident was described by Bastar Range’s Inspector General Sundararaj Pattalingam, the success of the anti -Maoist strategy. He said: “The surrender of sujata is the result of a strong and multidimensional strategy implemented in Bastar. The coordinated police efforts, the central army and intelligence agencies caused the Maoist structure a deep injury.” In recent months, Maoists in Bastar and other Maoist areas have done heavy damage, including actions on various leaders, attacks on arms explanations and the demolition of their bases. Pattalingam warned the Maoist leadership that he had no choice but to leave violence and return to the mainstream. He said: “Our active policing and the government’s developmental policy have ended the support base of Maoists.” Sujata’s surrender shows the growing confidence in the Maoist organization.
