More than 39 kg of hydroponic weeds seized at the Mumbai airport, three arrested
Mumbai, September 14 (IANS). The Revenue Intelligence Directorate (DRI) seized 39.2 kg of hydroponic weeds on Sunday in a large action at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai (CSMIA). Three people, including two Indian passengers, were arrested in this case. DRI’s Mumbai Regional Unit has done this action based on secret information, which has another attempt to smuggle international medicine. A senior three official said two Indian citizens who arrived in Bangkok, Thailand, in Mumbai were stopped based on suspicious activities. 39 packets were recovered when the green dust was hidden when the green fabric was hidden.
