A source said that “the accident occurred during the return of the procession from Maysan Governorate to Baghdad, where one of the wheels of the procession was reversed in the Sheikh Saad district, which resulted in the death of a member of the protection and the injury of 3 others.”
The source added that “the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment, while the body was transferred to forensic medicine to complete the legal procedures.”
According to the source, “the accident occurred, 3 cars from the Prime Minister’s vehicle, which was unharmed, and stopped in the field to follow up the circumstances of the accident before continuing his way back to Baghdad.”
During his visit to his hometown, Maysan, the Sudanese launched the executive work of the provincial refinery development project, with the aim of expanding its refining capacity from 40 thousand to 110 thousand barrels per day.
The Sudanese also performed the Eid Al -Fitr prayer in Maysan, and renewed his commitment to implementing the government program with all its service, social and economic dimensions.
He confirmed during his visit that Maysan Governorate will enter the field of petrochemical industries and fertilizer industry after the expansion of the refinery. (Erm News)
