GST Reform self sufficient to India: Zafar Islam

Vijayawada, September 15 (IANS). On the Reformation of Goods and Services (GST), the Bharatiya Party (BJP) spokesman, dr. Syed Zafar Islam, said the prime minister’s GST reform is a step towards self -sufficient India. He said during a conversation with the media that the Premier Historical GST reforms have introduced by the GST Council, which has achieved many targets in one stroke. Although these reforms solve the concern of the ordinary man, they provide MSMEs with relief. They support the middle class and eventually lead the Indian economy to self -sufficiency. Zafar Islam said that the prime minister has always emphasized that the comfort of life must be the guide theory, so that it can be assured that the benefits reach the consumer and the common citizen of the country. People will have more spending revenue to reduce tax burden will have more money in their pockets and more food on their plate. This is the basic goal of these reforms, which Premier Modi has successfully realized. He said the middle class is one of the biggest beneficiaries. Tax rates on air conditioners, television and other essential household goods have been reduced from 28 percent to 18 percent. Its direct benefit is available to consumers, most of which belong to the middle class. Zafar Islam said GST was drastically reduced on essential objects such as cheese, milk, rice and pulses. GST on many items was reduced from 12 percent or 18 percent to zero or 5 percent. This ensures that even the poorest part of society can reach daily requirements without any extra financial burden. He further said that the purpose of these reforms, except to facilitate the lives of the citizens, accelerate the economy and encourage development. By making tax rational and increasing consumption, GST reforms give a strong momentum for the economic rate of India.
