“Bastar's wealth will be the bright future of Chhattisgarh Scripture” - CM Vishnu Deo Sai

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai addressed the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect program in Jagdalpur and stated that Bastar is the ashes of a developed Chhattisgarh. “With courage and determination, we confronted brave security forces and the people of Bastar Maoism, and today Bastar moves forward to a golden chapter of investment,” he said. The CM noted that the opportunity followed international expenses in Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul. “This is the era of bullet speed, and we have set up a new industrial policy to build a developed India – developed chhattisgarh,” he added. Industrial Policy 2024–30: More than £ 6.65 Lakh Crore proposals have been received since its launch. More than 350 reforms were done under comfort and speed of business. Special incentives targets, including IT, AI, Pharma, textiles, electronics, green energy and tourism. Projects that invest £ 1,000 crore+ or create 1,000 jobs will receive additional subsidies. Infrastructure expansion: Bastar sees a highway to Visakhapatnam, the Raoghat -Jagdalpur railway line, airport upgrades, BodHGHAT approvals and mobile tower installations. New industrial areas are based in Jagdalpur, Cancer, Dantewada, Narayanpur, Kondagaon, Sukma and Bijapur. Inclusive incentives: 88% of Bastar’s blocks are categorized as Group-3, giving investors up to maximum benefits. SC/ST enthusiasts and units surrendered to Naxal rent are eligible for additional subsidies, including a 40% wage subsidy for a five -year period. Tourism and Skills Development: Tourism has awarded the industry status, with subsidies up to 45% for hotels, eco-tourism and wellness projects. Skills development centers are established over all 32 blocks, in line with both core and emerging industries. Investor confidence: Trade and Industries Minister Lakhan Lal Dewangan has so far reported investment proposals worth £ 6.95 Lakh Crore. Deputy CM Vijay Sharma highlighted new projects in Bijapur, saying the policy received global recognition. Certificates of incentive were distributed for 34 new industries, while NMDC showcased its role in the industrial and social development of Chhattisgarh. “The generous incentives in our industrial policy make it a golden opportunity. Bastar has introduced the red carpet for investors and is ready for take off on the path of development,” CM Sai concluded.
