Ed -Action in the money laundering case of zoom developers, assets worth Rs 1.15 crore seized
Bhopal, September 20 (IANS). Directorate for Enforcement (ED) took large steps in the money laundering case of Zoom Developers Private Limited. Bhopal Zonal Office temporarily seized three immovable properties worth Rs 1.15 crore in Maharashtra. The FIR is registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation, Bank Safety and Fraud Cell (BS & FC), New Delhi and Economic Missions Branch (Eow), Mumbai. Based on the fir and charge magazine, the ED began an investigation into the case. The ED investigation revealed that the Zoom Developers Private Limited (ZDPPL) (JDDPL) hid part of the money (revenue of crime) of PNB and other banks, hidden by joint ventures such as Zoom Hindustan Peter Oats JV and finally sent to Hindustan Motar llp and its related Assets for sale. In this case, the ED has already issued five temporary orders to seize the movable and immovable properties worth Rs 131.34 crore. In this case, a complaint of prosecution and 2 additional prosecution charges were also filed. At the same time, Indore Sub Zonal Office of Enforcement Directorate (ED) temporarily seized 14 immovable assets worth Rs 4.5 crore under the provisions of the Money Laundry Prevention Act (PMLA), 2002 in the case of rigging of Rs 20 Crore of the Block Education Office (BEE) in Madhya Pradesh. This action was done by Kamal Rathore and other accused in the case of manipulation and abuse of government funds by false bills of Beo, Kattiwada, District Alirajpur, Madhya Pradesh. Kattiwada police have filed a case against BOO officials and employees. Based on this fir, the maintenance directorate began the investigation. Investigation revealed that the Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) was built between 2018-2023 and that the government funds were widely manipulated by the approved false accounts. -Ians DKP/ Share these Story Tags
