The Radio City Christmas Spectacular
November 9 – January 1, 2019
Radio City Music Hall
No other holiday show is more iconic than the Langlopie Radio City Christmas Spectacular With the Radio City Rocketes. Since 1933 Spectacular was an institution of singing, dance and yuletide cheers. The Ride: Holiday Edition
November 15 – January 6, 2019

The holiday ride Return for his seventh year and give a whole new meaning to the idea of a holiday -slear. The lights of Christmas, Chanukah and Kwanza, the floor-to-ceiling glass windows of the luxury car coach, are in a stage street in New York, while passengers enjoy seasonal music and composite performances with holiday themes on the bus route. The illusionists – magic of the holiday

Marquis -Theater on Broadway
This year’s family -friendly display features Illusions, close-up magic, mentalism, escape and a seasonal technological spectacle. Artists include Darcy Oake (The great illusionist), Adam Trent (The futuris), Colin Cloud (The deductions), Shin Lim (The manipulator), Chloé Crawford (The wizard), and the dance group light balance. New York City Ballet, David Koch -Theater in Lincoln Center
The beautiful company once again presents the beautiful choreography of George Balanchine in its annual presentation of Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet – with 90 dancers, 62 musicians and 40 stage to mount it. A Christmas Carol in Harlem
November 25 – December 8
Aaron Davis Hall
This restoration of the classic Christmas story, located in the modern Harlem, follows Ebenezer Scrooge as a real estate that has become rich in the downfall of others. Adapted by Shawn Rene Graham and directed by Steve H. Broadnax III, the show contains choreography by Tiffany Rea-Fisher. Instead of reviving its Harlem community, Scrooge counts his coins alone until he visits a visit of the three classic ghosts. The production involves both timelessness and contemporary relevance. Merchant’s House Museum in Manhattan
See how Charles Dickens, as played by John Kevin Jones, his timeless story of A Christmas Carol In the Landmark 1832 Merchant’s House Museum. The production is an exciting experience, with holiday decorations, chandeliers for chandeliers and lavish furniture. Performances play Tuesday to Sunday, with two performances on Monday, December 24, instead of December 18 and Christmas Day performances. An Irish repertory theater tradition, A child’s Christmas in Wales is a musical interpretation of Dylan Thomas’s story of the same name. The production contains both classic and contemporary Christmas songs intertwined with storytelling. Navidad: A Mexican-American Christmas
November 30 – December 16
Thalia Spanish Theater in Sunnyside, Queens
This production examines the classical holiday traditions of Mexico and the United States; After a child of Mexican immigrant parents who grew up in New York who dreams of the two cultures, the piece is a celebration in music and dance and includes Aztec, Mariachi and Ballet influences. The company of 16 dancers performs a completely new program with routines choreographed by Mexican and Mexican-American guest artists, specifically for the production in the Queens-based theater. Find this holiday season a little angry with the story of a Christmas that went terribly wrong. If eight -year -old Davin is brought to hell and misses Christmas, his father must make a deal with the devil to fix things. The original musical, with book and score by Gary Apple (The Simpsons), Comes from director choreographer Bill Castellino. The production is on tour, but will be in the Tri-State area on December 13 (Paramount Theater in Asbury, New Jersey), 14 (NJPAC in Newark, New Jersey) and 23 (Kings Theater in Brooklyn, New York). Mike Fitelson, a contemporary interpretation for the whole family, re-worked Tchaikovsky’s score to accompany Jennifer Weber’s re-enhanced hip-hop choreography. Look at the classic Dr. Seuss story on stage! This seasonal favorite boasts the Grouchy Grinch and its mission to cancel Christmas. The Grinch is played by the two-time Tony Award nominated Gavin Lee fresh from his role as Squidward in SpongeBob Squarepants: The Musical. “I’m excited to walk to the hairy, stinky -green shoes of the world’s most beloved Christmas Bad Boy this holiday season,” says Lee. If you are looking for grandiosis dog pioneering art, the with opera’s production of The magic whistle is your number. Directed by Tony and Oscar Winner July Taymor (The lion king), The English -speaking production is 100 minutes to a high energy shortened. The story follows Prince Tamino, who was rescued from the wrath of a snake by the queen of the night and must repay her by rescuing her daughter with a magical flute.
