Ranchi NCB's most important action against drug smugglers, assets worth 48.6 lakh

Ranchi, September 24 (IANS). The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Ranchi Zonal Unit took big steps in the campaign against drug smuggling. The bureau frozen assets worth about Rs 48.6 Lakh, which injured the illegal earnings of smugglers. During the investigation, the accused was found to be linked to a large interstate medicine network, the door of which was distributed to Rajasthan. This network is constantly providing medicine in Bihar and Jharkhand. NCB officials say the agency’s strategy is not limited to arrest, and now the illegal assets of smugglers are also tightened so that they can weaken economically.
