Sport University, CM Hemant to open a high level with officers
Ranchi, September 24 (IANS). Chief Minister Hemant Soren held a high -level meeting with senior officials on Wednesday to place the proposed Sport University plan on the ground in Ranchi. He said that with the opening of the university, a better platform would be available to improve the talent of state players and to pursue them on the national and international platform. During the meeting, he took detailed information on the status of all the stadiums in Khelgaon in Ranchi. The chief minister said that the Mega Sports Complex Jharkhand gave a clear identity internationally. There are very few sports centers in the country where the stadiums of different sports are present on the same campus. National and international level sports competitions were held here continuously. He emphasized that it is necessary to keep the stadiums with modern facilities in line with international standards. He also said that some sports competition is held in the Mega Sports Complex throughout the year and that players are also regularly training players. Therefore, all the defects in the stadiums must be removed on priority base and the availability of the necessary resources for sporting events must be ensured. He said that modern technology and methods should be used to meet international sports standards in upgrading and that the cooperation of different expert agencies should be taken for this.
