49th Progress Meeting: Prime Minister Modi Rate Eight Infrastructure Projects including Railway, Water Sources
New -Delhi, September 24 (IANS). Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday served on the 49th meeting of the ICT-Saksham-Multimodel platform, Pragati for active management and timely implementation in the South Block. This platform brings together the center and states to quickly pursue major projects, remove obstacles and ensure timely implementation. PM Modi posted on the social media platform ‘X’ and said that Wednesday night was chairman of the 49th progress meeting. 100 important projects worth more than Rs 65,000 crore have been reviewed in 15 states and trade union areas. These projects included areas such as mining, railways, water resources, industrial corridors and electricity. During the meeting, the prime minister reviewed eight important infrastructure projects in different areas, including mining, railroad, water resources, industrial corridors and electricity. These projects are spread across 15 states and trade union areas spread throughout the country, with a total investment of more than Rs 65,000 crore. These projects, which are considered important motivators of economic development and public well -being, have been revised with clearly deadly, effective coordination between agencies and early solution of obstacles. PM Modi reiterated that the implementation has delayed double costs- often increasing the project expenses and the citizens are deprived of timely access to essential services and infrastructure. He encouraged officials at both the center and the state level to use the result-oriented approach to opportunities to improve the living standards of the people, as well as the goals of the citizens to facilitate and make life comfortable for businesses. He emphasized that states and central ruling states must also develop institutional mechanisms at their level for regular review and monitoring of large projects, so that timely implementation and effective solution for obstacles can be ensured. He has requested all states and trade union areas to improve competitiveness, strengthen efficiency and promote innovation in various areas to emphasize reforms.
