World -Aptiver Day 2025: Themes for the Origin of Warning
Jakarta -September 25 is commemorated as the World APTERDAY or World Capture Day. It is an important moment to recognize and celebrate the contribution of pharmacists to support the health system at different levels of service. World Pharmacist Day is held by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), which is a partner of the World Health Organization (WHO). After this, the World APTERDAY 2025, which enters the 16th year, this campaign still celebrates the pharmaceutical profession around the world and strengthens its importance for a stronger and sustainable health system. According to the Ri Kemenkes website, World Pharmacist Day 2025 with the theme “Think Health, Think Pharmacist”, it specifically emphasizes that when we talk about health, the role of pharmacists should not be forgotten because they are not only as medicinal experts, but also as the front of friendly, professional and patients. This theme is consistent with the challenges and needs of the health system in Jakarta, densely populated areas with high mobility and complicated public health burden. From the management of chronic diseases, the use of rational antibiotics, to participation in the promotion and education of public health, pharmaceutical staff make a real contribution to improving service quality. The origin of the World Capture Day capturer World captains are determined by the FIP Council at the 2009 World Pharmacy and Pharmacy Congress in Istanbul, Türkiye. September 25 was selected because FIP was founded on that date in 1912. Each year, the theme of the World APTERDAY is determined by the FIP BURO. The purpose of the World Pharmacist Day FIP is to encourage activities that promote and advocate the role of pharmacists in improving health around the world. Today is the closure of the World Pharmacy Week Fip (September 19-25). The International Pharmacy Federation (FIP) is a global federation of the National Association of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Scientists, and has an official relationship with the World Health Organization (WHO).
