Yves Jarvis Wins Polaris Song Prize 2025, and Mustafa Wins inaugural Polaris Tune Prize
Yves jarvis ha received The 2025 Polaris Song Prize. The Psych-Pop Singer-Stongerr Acquired the Award for Easiest Canadian Album of the Year for His February LP, All Cylinders. Mustafa, Meanwhile, Acquired the inaugural Polaris Tune Prize for HIS Dunya tune “Gaza is calling.”
Chosen by a jury of Song industry participants, the prizes were awarded Closing Evening (September 16) at Massey Hall in Toronto. Other nominees in both the album and tune Categories integrated Saya Gray, Lou-Adidy, and Ribbon Skirt. Jarvis and Mustafa Had been Awarded $ 30,000 and $ 10,000 Canadian, Respective, Courtesy of The Slaight Family Foundation and The Society of Composes, Authors and Song Publishers of Canada (Socan).
Closing Year, Jeremy Dutcher received the polaris Song Prize for Wolastoqiyik lintuwakonawaChanging into the Award’s First Two-Time Winner Since Its Commence in 2006.
