Yves Jarvis Wins Polaris Track Prize 2025, and Mustafa Wins inaugural Polaris Tune Prize
Yves jarvis ha won The 2025 Polaris Track Prize. The Psych-Pop Singer-Stongerr Won the Award for Simplest Canadian Album of the Year for His February LP, All Cylinders. Mustafa, Meanwhile, Won the inaugural Polaris Tune Prize for HIS Dunya song “Gaza is asking.”
Chosen by a jury of Track enterprise contributors, the prizes had been awarded Final Evening (September 16) at Massey Hall in Toronto. Varied nominees in both the album and song Categories included Saya Gray, Lou-Adidy, and Ribbon Skirt. Jarvis and Mustafa Had been Awarded $ 30,000 and $ 10,000 Canadian, Respective, Courtesy of The Slaight Household Foundation and The Society of Composes, Authors and Track Publishers of Canada (Socan).
Final Year, Jeremy Dutcher won the polaris Track Prize for Wolastoqiyik lintuwakonawaTurning into the Award’s First Two-Time Winner Since Its Birth in 2006.
