Bareilly, September 27 (IANS). In Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, after Jumm’s prayer on Friday, a stressful situation arose about the banners and slogans of ‘I Love Mohammed’. During this time, the administration of Ittehad-E-Millat Council (IMC) Maulana Tauqir Raza was arrested by the administration, after which safety arrangements were tightened in the city. A heavy police force was deployed outside the home of Maulana Tauqir, which lived in the Bareilly Baradari area in the Baradari area. Maulana claims that the administration, as soon as he was about to leave for Namaz, became acquainted with his location. He said: “DM and other officials arrived at my home and prevented me from going out. The whole police force was deployed. The government is strictly against Muslims.” According to the information received, some people raised the banners and slogans of ‘I Love Mohammed’ after the prayers of Jumme, after which the atmosphere became tense. The administration acted immediately to control the situation and decided to put Maulana under house arrest. Police have been patrolling in sensitive areas of the city and additional security forces were deployed so that there was no unforeseen incident. The district administration says this step has been taken to maintain peace and law and order in the city. Police have appealed to maintain peace and not share inflammatory content on social media. Additional police force and RAF were deployed in the city.
