Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee President Harshvardhan Sapkal, All India Congress Committee (AICC) member and Maharashtra-in-Charge Ramesh Chennithala and AICC Secretary and Maharashtra Cum-Trabhari BM Sandeep was held on Saturday at a press conference. The War Room of Ramesh Chennithala was also inaugurated at the event. Ramesh Chennithala, who was addressed at the press conference, made serious accused of ignoring the farmers who influenced the flood of Maharashtra and the state government. He said that the congress promised to provide assistance of Rs 50,000 per hectare to the farmers, but the farmers received no relief from the central and state government. Chennithala said: “Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis met Premier Modi. Everyone hoped he would discuss the flood situation and seek help from the center, but nothing happened. I want to ask Premier Modi that when he comes to Maharashtra, he will visit the flood -driven areas? The BJP promised the fault of the farmers, but there was no progress in this direction.
