He said that under this scheme 10 thousand rupees were sent to the bank account of women, and that additional financial aid of up to Rs 2 Lakh would be provided for better performance. The purpose of this scheme is to provide economic freedom and social empowerment to women. Rituraj said beneficiaries can use this quantity in groceries, tools, cosmetic, toys and stationery, as well as in small businesses such as agriculture, animal husbandry, crafts and sewing. He said that Bihar’s double engine government took a big step for the sisters and daughters of Bihar through this scheme.
