All Women's Mountain Climbing Teams of ITBP have successfully succeeded on the Mount Noon, flag-in ceremony in Delhi
New -Delhi, September 27 (IANS). A large flag-in ceremony was organized by all women’s mountain climbing teams from the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) to celebrate the successful Ascension on Mount Noon (Ladakh). In his speech, ITBP director Rahul Rasgotra said that the team of 14 women’s climbers, led by the Assistant Commandant Ms. Bhanita, successfully stepped on the peak of the mountain (Ladakh, 7,135 m) on August 14, 2025. This achievement not only adds a new chapter to the glorious history of Mountaining excellence. The main guest Govind Mohan honored these courageous women’s climbers with cash prizes and appreciated his unbearable courage, determination and unwavering passion. He said that ITBP has always been a leader in the field of mountaineering and that the Interior Ministry is committed to promoting such campaigns and sports activities.
