Andhra Pradesh government will launch 'Super GST-Super Gover Savings' Outreach Campaign
Amravati, September 29 (IANS). The Andhra Pradesh government has launched an extensive outreach campaign called “Super GST -Super Savings” to distribute awareness about the benefits of GST 2.0 reforms across the state. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the Cabinet’s action plan through a video conference. The campaign runs until October 19, in which 65,000 programs and meetings will be held to emphasize GST relief on essential commodities, medicines, stationery, clothing, sports, transport, women and children’s products. From September 30 to October 19, various departments will do subject-based activities on agriculture, MSME, handloma, aquatic agriculture, education, insurance, electronics, e-commerce, construction, tourism, hospitality, logistics, renewable energy and cars. Activities include tractor meetings, product exhibitions, schools, salons, gym and awareness campaigns in public places. Special programs will be organized in 7,000 high schools and 4000 junior colleges, with students’ essays and painting competitions. At the same time, programs at the constituency level will be focused on price benefits in public welfare policies, insurance, electronics, e-commerce, transport, toys, sports and renewable energy. The campaign ends on October 19 with Shopping Festival, cultural programs and Diwali celebrations in the district headquarters. Awareness will also be distributed by radio, TV, print, theater, social media and government offices.
