Western Bengals: In this Durga Puja, Proverbs were made of spices! Look at the incredible pandal of shitdwip

Kakdwip, September 29 (IANS). The Barnali Association, one of the most popular Durga Puja events of Kakadweep in the Western Bengals, entered its 62nd anniversary. Like every year, the worship of this year has also brought novelty. This time the theme is ‘Proverbs’. A wonderful pandal was built under this special theme, in which many famous proverbs of rural and urban life were presented in a living form, which attracts the visitors’ attention. To make the pandal even more alive, a special art was created from cooking items. A unique view has been prepared using betel leaves, chilli, pulses, pimples, scarves, soybeans, different types of pulses and spices. When we look at the establishment of every art of the pandal, everything seems to be telling the story of some proverb. This unique experiment forces those who see the pandal to think deeply and remind them of traditional proverbs. The worship of this time was inaugurated by the chief minister of the state of Mamata Banerjee by virtual medium. Club officials said people of Kakdwip and South 24 parganas would be involved in this puja like every year. Due to the innovative theme of this year, enthusiasm in public has increased more than ever. The Barnali Sangh has also taken steps in social work. Programs such as organizing blood donation camps, distribution of educational material and standing with economically backward people are also part of their annual activities. Local residents say that the worship of the Barnali Sangh brings something new every year, and this time the touch of the Proverbs will provide a unique experience. This confluence of social dedication and cultural innovation gave the Barnali Union a special place, not only in the shitwip, but also in the entire South 24 Pargana region. Due to the theme and decoration of the pandal this time, there was a significant increase in the number of people coming to the place of worship. People not only come to share in worship, but are also pleased to see this unique and informative pandal. -Ians PIS/DKP Share This Story Tags
