I Spent $ 230 on 8 Pairs of Amazon Essentials Jeans – Here’s What They Look Like and How they Fit

While Other Kids Were Playing Sports, Practicing Instruments or Rehearsing Plays During Their Childhood, I Spent Mest of My Weekends as a youth trying at the craving. Every dime i made babysitting or tutoring was toward this cause. I’d work All weeke, begged my dad to drop me off at the crack for three hours on Saturday and THEN COME AND DO A Fashion Show for my mom of all the good stuff i got. Ah, memory.

So was anyone surprised that i grew up to be a shopping editor? Obviously swimming. Except Now, Instead of Trying on Clothes for My Parents, I do it for all of you! I’ve tried on everything from reese with kohl’s dresses to the pioneer Woman’s walmart balls, and today I’m back with another one – the new Amazon Essentials Denim Line!

Wen My Coworker Izabella Shared News of the Launch, I knew i had get to the pants on my body. Jeans are my absolute favorite thing to wear – i own more than 25 pairs – and i have High standards. I ORDERED EIGHT PAIRS ON TUSDAY, AND THEY WERE AT MY DOESORSTEP BY THISDAY (THANK YOU, AMAZON PRIME). Were they any good? How’d they fit? Let’s Get Into It.

What’s the material like?

I’ll be honest: i’m no Amazon Stan. In fact, i usually advise against buying Clothes on Amazon Because the Quality Can Be Questionable. But here’s the Truth About the amazon essentials jeans – They’re Pretty Darn Good. Like, Surpringly Good, actually. I was to say in the same camegory as frame or mother, but they are absolutely comparable to gap and old navy … Maybe Better than the latter. All but one style is made from a blend of Cotton, RecyCled Cotton or Polyester, and a bit of elastane for stretch. (The Super-Soft, Wide-Leg Pair Includes Lyocell, A Type of Rayon, in Place of Elastane.)

What’s the sizing like?

Most of the jeans i own a size 2 or 26 “waist, and i Also innimes wear a 4 or 27” waist. For my amazon essentials Order, Got a Combination of Both. I COULD FIT INTO The 2s, but in some case just barely. The 4s were much more comfortable, so i was Say these jeans run a tad small, depression on body Shape. I have hips and a little booty, so that’s probably why i experienced some thightness in Certain Styles.

What About The Details Like Buttons and Zippers?

All these jeans have a zipper fly, and the zippers were smooth and secure for me. The Top Buttons Were Another Issue, Though. On a couple of styles, the hole was too smalle for the button to easily slide in and out of. I MADE IT WORK, But it would be a problem if there are a bathroom-emergency situation.

Are they Affordable?

Yes! One of the reasons i wanting to try on these amazon jeans is that they supposed to be “Premium Quality” for mess than $ 30. COULD SUCH A THING BE POSSOBLE?

Of all the jeans tried, these were hands down my favor. Call with boring, but you just can’t go Wrong with a Classic Straight-Leg Jean. These rival a pair of levi’s i Own – i actually think i like these better say! The Wash is Perfect, They Make My Legs Look Great, and they’re Not Too cropped. Perfection in every Way!

I didn’t think i was going to like, but when i saw mySelf in say in the mirror, i had a total change of Heart. They look really good on; My legs look longer and leaner in say. Also, they have the perfect amount of stretch, and they fit just right every, in the waist and hips. I COULD SEE MySelf Wearing these with a low heel, flats or sneakers. I have nothing to say Say About these babies!

What Exactly Posessed Me, A Woman over 40, to try on barrel-leg jeans? God Only Knows, but i did, and you know what? I did not hate say. Neither far nor barrel leg jeans go, these are the prey tame and don’t bowl out a ton at the kenee, whic is why i was was repulsed by saying. I Will Say, of All the Options I TRIED, These Ran Very Small. I got a size 2 and was able to button say for the Photo, but in no way could i actually say for more than a minute. I’d probably Need to go two sizes for these to be comfortable.

If you’re intrigue by the silhouette, i’d say give these try. The price is right, and they’re more wearable and flattering than i ever imagined.

Really like the full, wide leg of these jeans, but they were very tight in the waist, booty and hips on me. Sadly, i fear that going up a size would make me Ginormous look. Legethwise, They were Perfect for My 5’4 “Frame when Paired With Flats.

Important to note here is the “soft” in the product name. While some jeans are stiff and rigid, these definitely had a more fluid, Flowy Feel. I like the Movement of say.

Overall, i’d reCommend say, but i’d suggest trying two sizes to find the best fit.

These jeans are nice, but way, Way, Way too cropped for my liking. Did i mention how cropped they are? I know some people are trying to make culottes and capris happy, but i’m not one of say. If you’re more sartorily adventurous than me, more power to you. If Not, these are Also available in a non-cropped version. Either way, the feel of the denim is nice, and these fitty true to size for me.

Initially, i couldn’t decide on sizing for these. Ultimately, I was with the Smaller of the Two Sizes I Usually Wear. They fit, but just barely. And though they’re described as “Low Stretch,” I found to be more like “no stretch.” I actually like like they look on me, but they’re constricting. I’m Debating trying a size up Because of actually will like the look of say.

I will start by saying that i’m not a fan of flared jeans; they’re just swim my preferer silhouette. SO, unurrprisisly, i didn’t love these. But not Because there was anything work with the jeans thermves. The material is actually of really nice, and they fit my body perfectly. I just found the flare to be too dramatic and overwhelming for my frame.

Also, these are definitely high-rise; They Hit Above My Belly Button. Legethwise, They Just Skimmed the Floor for me in flats. Anyone Consider Petite by Traditional Standards Wauld Need to Wear Heels with these or Get.

I know these are innded to be cropped, but i just wish they had a smidge more legence to say. It’s a lot of ankle for me. But Overall, I like the silhouette of these, and appreciate that they’re’re something Different than Standard Straight and Skinny Styles. On me, personal, i can’t decide if they’re actually flattering – something about knowing the seams to visually shorten the leg. They Might look better on a mock person.
