Danke Bank Shutters London ECM -Desk to focus on Stockholm
(Bloomberg) – Danke Bank A/S has closed its operations in the share capital in London because it doubles at Stockholm in an attempt to become a top Nordic investment bank. Five people from the London Equity Syndicate team were rejected according to the lender, who came into effect in June. The move is a ‘strategic milestone’ in the Bank’s Capital Markets Franchise Push, Atilla Olesen, head of its investment banking division, told Bloomberg News in ‘Ne -mail. As part of a five -year strategy he set out for himself in 2023, Danske Bank is committed to expanding its advice on Nordic Capital Markets “with a strong focus on investment opportunities in Sweden,” Olesen said. Danske Bank stripped Carl Rosenius of Scandinaaviska and Shielda Banken AB last year as co-head of investment banking and head of corporate finance in Stockholm. Since then, Rosenius has added four bankers from BEE and Nordea Bank ABP and has indicated more likely.
