Donald Trump Administration delays 100% tariff for importing branded drugs, and still 'worked' '
It seems that the Trump administration has delayed a 100% rate on some imported medicines-which the president threatened last week to impose on brand name or patented pharmaceutical products unless the drug manufacturer breaks a manufacturing plant in the United States. ‘The Department of Trade continues to assess the proposals of pharmaceutical businesses to relocate the manufacture of manufacturing and lower drug prices to (the most favorable nation) rates while preparing pharmaceutical rates,’ an official of the White House told CNN. The official added that the rates would not come into effect on Wednesday – the date that President Donald Trump gave last week when he announced the levies – but said they are still working.
