Man dies in Main Scotland-England Motorway Link Crash

A man has died in a crash whic closed both sides of the main road link BetWene Scotland and England.

Emergency Services Were Called Out to Reports of A Single-Vehicle Accident which Shut the A74 (M) and M6 Motorways at About 06:40.

Cumbria Police Said the Accident Involved an Hgv and the Driver – a man in his 60s – was pronounced dead at the scene, close to junction 45 Northbound for gretna.

The Road was shut between the border and carlisle and diversions have ben put in place and drivers have been asked to avoid the area ifsible.
