Protests on dealing with charge in Bhilwara, textile traders stopped the business

Bhilwara, October 3 (IANS). Textile traders protested on Friday before the collector regarding 2 percent additional handling costs imposed by process houses in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. Due to the performance in Bhilwara, 400 knitting units and 600 businesses of the city did not send about 3 million meters for textile processing, causing people to experience problems in the industry. The textile traders reached the collector and submitted a memorandum to the collector, district superintendent of the police and MP and demanded to reduce it as soon as possible. Traders say that if the additional handling costs are not reduced, the factory will be closed in the coming time. The Federation Officer Prem Swaroop Garg said traders stopped processing clothing in protest of this unfair fee, which is worth the textile business worth the rupees. Traders say that the 2 percent handling is a wrong start. These costs are 2 percent, which can be further increased in the future, which will unnecessarily increase their production costs and directly affect trade. They believe that there are other valid methods to increase processing costs, but this additional fee is completely arbitrary. In this case, Bhilwara -LP and Federation President Damodar Aggarwal also supported the traders. He has made it clear that process houses can increase processing rates when their costs rise, but in this way it is the government’s work, it is not from private institutions. Therefore, they must think to reduce it so that people do not have to have problems. At the same time, the process home operators said that traders often use their process houses as a warehouse and do not pick up processed goods for months, causing them not to pay on time and increase the cost of storage. He had to take this step due to a lack of consent on processing costs. -Ians bag/abm shares this story tags
